MicroBio µ3D automatically, rapidly and precisely enumerates Total Viable Count (TVC) of microorganisms on 100 plates at the same time while the Standard Plate Count media plates are being incubated. The example is the case of cut vegetable sample.

 

Accurate Viable Count for 100 plates is obtained faster when MicroBio μ3D is used since the system detects and counts colonies in microscopic level while plates are being incubated. The result count is accurate so that plates for dilution series are not required to be tested.

 

MicroBio µ3D based on Time-lapse Shadow Image Analysis (TSIA) is able to enumerate colonies in wide range of one to about ten thousands accurately. Therefore, one SPC plate is required to obtain standard plate count.

As the example shows, accurate colony count can be obtained from micro-colony level that can not be observed by the eye. If SPC exceeded the maximum limitation specified as test criteria, the system sends you a real time alert.
