Colony count of mold becomes difficult after prolonged incubation due to the growth of hyphae, causing overlapping each other. When MicroBio µ3D is used for mold detection, colony count can be performed automatically because it monitors the growth of mold from microscopic stage.


Aspergillus brasiliensis Detection

The example below shows how three different agar media detect Aspergillus brasiliensis when MicroBio µ3D is used. PDA, GPLP and Sabouraud agar media were used for detection. The 0.1ml of Aspergillus sample was spread on each plate. Plates were incubated at 28 ℃ for 48h, but the detection was completed for every plate at 35h.
