The Membrane Filter (MF) method is widely used for detecting the presence of microbes in water sample or in environmental sample since it permits analysis of larger samples.

You can achieve rapid and reliable microbial detection by MicroBio µ3D system, performing Membrane Filter method. The system is able to incubate at different temperature, such as 25ºC for mold or 55ºC for thermophiles. Besides, automated anaerobic Membrane Filter microbial detection method can be performed at various temperature range. Therefore, Lactobacillus detection for large sample or Clostridium detection also can be automated and performed rapidly.

MicroBio μ3D AutoScanner can be a dedicated filter method sysfem.

If MicroBio μ3D AutoScanner is implemented as a dedicated filter method system, it can test 200 filters at the same time.

Microbial detection for 200 membrane filters is fully automated.

Virus and macrophage plaques are quantifed accurately.
Virus infected cells form plaques, and macrophage preyed bacteria form plaques. The plaque assay is a standard biological assay that counts and quantifies this plaque. MicrroBio μ3D collects data on the process of plaque formation during culture, allowing accurate plaque counting.
