Time-lapse monitoring while incubating anaerobic conditioned plates can be performed by MicroBio µ3D system. We provide anaerobic conditioning kit that makes each plate in anaerobic condition, including a plate that a membrane filter is placed on the surface of agar media. Therefore, now, anaerobe detection is fully automated for rapid detection. Anaerobic plates are treated as same as ordinary plates so that a test can be run in mixed mode of aerobic and anaerobic.
Deoxygenating Method
An anaerobic conditioning kit produces deoxygenated condition for each agar plate, substituting oxygen with carbon dioxide inside of the plate.
Pouch Method
Anaerobe detection can be performed by incubating a pouch that contains poured thioglycolate agar media mixed with sample. Placing pouches into slots of a tray and setting the tray into MicroBio µ3D, fully automated rapid anaerobe detection can be performed.
Thermoanaerobacter thermohydrosulfuricus Dectection
It used to take for the traditional method about one week to detect Thermoanaerobacter that causes product quality problem in food industry. Using MicroBio µ3D with anaerobic conditioned media plate, the anaerobes are detected much faster.
Clostridium thermohydrosulfuricum is a synonym of Thermoanaerobacter thermohydrosulfuricus.
